This method can work also with still images but the code replacement doesn’t need to be as specific. ![]() Make sure to always keep a copy of your file when working with XVI32! ![]() The results can vary depending on which characters replaced the original code, the file format and the number of key frames replaced. This pieces of code can all be found automatically with Ctrl+F and replaced with other series with Ctrl+R. It basically takes a little experimentation to figure out which frames are present for each file format (mov, avi, mp4 and so on) In HEX code, these frames can be identified like this: 00 B1, 00 B0, 00 B2, etc. ![]() Video glitches consist of specific frames called ‘key frames’ becoming corrupted and, in a way merging with other frames. It’s a sort of raw form of data, and when it’s modified manually, files become corrupted. That’s about it! XVI32 is a HEX editor, which allows you to see any file from your computer as HEX code.
